Dr Mohamed Fuje
Dr Mohamed Fuje a professor of tropical medicine at Benadir University and the chief medical officer of the Federal Ministry of Health and Human Services. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the Somali National University, Faculty of Medicine, a Masters in Tropical Medicine from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, as well as a Masters in Internal Medicine form the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital. He has worked for the World Health Organization and continues to practise medicine.
Professor Abdiaziz Sheikh Mohamood
Professor Abdiaziz Sheikh Mohamood (Malingur) is an academician and researcher specialized in Immunology. He holds a Master degree in Microbiology and a doctoral degree in Molecular and Cellular Immunology from the Howard University. Professor Abdiaziz was trained at the FDA and NIH and completed postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2007. He has been a researcher and lecturer at many universities across the world. During his career, Prof Abdiaziz received many awards and achieved numerous accomplishments including the prestigious Johns Hopkins Pathology’s Award for Excellence in Basic Research for three times, he owns patents for his invention in the treatment of autoimmune disorders such as Type I Diabetes. In addition, he is active in basic and translational research and published in prestigious American and international journals.
